Kurt Chesney attended the Air Force Academy, where he played Division One football and held multiple leadership positions which placed him in unique roles to lead and develop hundreds of people. His teams saw significant success and outsized impact in the enterprise. Combined with service in the greater DoD, his experience and drive to help more groups of people led him to pivot towards the private sector, founding Meridian Command in early 2025.
As a double major in Computer Science and Cyber Science, he saw a unique opportunity to leverage deep technical experience in combination with the human aspect of running a business, fulfilling a niche in the tech space. He sees broad applicability to soft skills learned in the military, and he is passionate about applying lessons learned through service to other organizations.
